This question is regarding a golf cart. My golf ball was on green, my friend who was playing with me has a golf cart and he asked me to drive the cart towards the green. I accidentally placed my foot on accelerator and bumped another cart. There is very slight visual damage to my friend's golf cart and no damage to other cart. Who is responsible for repair bill? Would this cost be covered by my home insurance policy?

My truck was total loss due to an accident cause by another vehicle. My primary insurance company paid all but $3,000 of the remaining balance. I also have GAP insurance but was told that due to "the financing company moving payments to the back of the balance they will not pay the remainder of the balance." Can they refuse to pay if I paid for the policy?

Our car was totaled this past Friday and we have gap insurance. We have paid $16,000 and still owe $10,000 but our car is now only worth about $5000 to $6,000. Will our gap insurance only pay the finance company, or would we be paid back any amount of money for which we already paid?

I reside in Tucson Arizona. In February I was hit by an uninsured driver. I only had liability coverage on my vehicle, but also have 25/50 uninsured motorist coverage. My insurance company is wanting to pay me a $150 settlement for pain and suffering, and cover the cost of my trip to urgent care & a prescription. Will the property damage portion of my uninsured motorist policy cover any of the damage to my car, or could this be included in the settlement amount?

My friend was at fault in an accident. Both of the cars are registered in Maryland, but the accident took place in Virginia. My friend has insurance, but the other person did not. Is the other person liable to pay for the damages to my friend's car? The other party is saying that it's not his fault, thus he will not be paying for the damages. Can I file a complaint? What should I do and is there anyway to report this or have the other party penalized for not having insurance?

My brother was recently involved in a fender bender which he was not at fault. The other driver refuses to cooperate with her insurance company and provide a statement which would speed the process of payment to my brother. Short of filing a claim with his insurance and paying a $500 deductible or going to small claims court is there anything else that can be done. He lives in FL.

I was riding one of my motorcycles (the policies that cover my bikes are separate from the policy that covers my other cars and truck) and was hit by an underinsured driver. My medical bills were over the $10,000 limit of the at fault driver. Since I have uninsured/underinsured coverage on my other policies but not on my motorcycles, can I collect against my car policy's underinsured motorist coverage for the excess medical bills?Vehicles in AZ are not covered by the uninsured/underinsured policies, only the medical bills. Does the uninsured/underinsured coverage pertain to ME or to a vehicle?

Say you took a loan out for $15,403 in January for a 2006 car. You had the car for 4 months and it was stolen and wrecked. Your insurance says there is $6,333 worth of damage to it but wants to pay to get it repaired instead of totaling it. If you have GAP insurance and you decide not to repair the car instead you use the money to pay on the loan will your GAP insurance pay off the rest of the loan that way you are free and clear to purchase another vehicle?

My husband and I recently purchased a new (not used) car but could not take the vehicle home as it had no arrived at the dealership. All the paperwork was exactly as if we had taken the car and given the trade. We walked out with an "we owe" from the dealer. This was done to secure dealer financing. They let us take home the car we traded in. My husband hit an animal on the highway and now the dealership says our insurance must pay or we pay. If we legally traded the car, whose insurance should cover the car?

In Ohio, my wife's car was rear-ended and declared a total loss. The other driver was cited and admitted fault. The insurance company indicates that we are only eligible for 3 days of a rental car, because it is a total loss.A 3-day limit on rental reimbursement seems inconsistent with the "making whole" principle. Should the other driver's insurance company be liable for providing alternate transportation for a reasonable amount of time?
