I filed a hail damage claim on my car, and my insurance agent made a check out to me and my lien holder. However, my lien holder won't endorse the check until all the damage is repaired. What shop is going to repair my car and wait a week to get paid for it? Many people have told me I can cash the check without the lien holders endorsement. Is this true? Do I have any options, besides paying for it myself, which I can not do?
Thanks for your help.
