What is the time frame in Indiana for an insurance company to settle a claim?

I have got full coverage on my wife's 2005 Mercedes. On this model the fuse box is located in the trunk. She went through a car wash and the back trunk lid must of leaked and that fuse panel got wet, subsequently everything is going haywire. I am hoping it will dry out and everything will be back normal. If it does not, can it be turned into my insurance company under Comp? Thank you

If you have an accident on snow covered roads due to the weather why would they consider it a collision claim?

I live in New York and have a broken windshield that is non-accident related. Do I have to pay my insurance deductible to have my windshield replaced?

My back auto glass was smashed during an attempted theft. As a long time Florida resident I was told that I had to pay this deductible, since it was not a windshield, but a back window. True?

My brother had his truck parked in the garage of a neighbor and another neighbor (whom was drunk) ran into the side of his truck damaging the bottom of the extra cab and tweaking his leaf springs and shackles (meaning the back drivers side tire is bent inward at an angle). My brother has no insurance on his vehicle but the other person has insurance, what can he do as far as getting his truck repaired and running again? We are in the state of Hawaii.

In Illinois, is there a law stating that one is required to take their wrecked vehicle to the insurance company's referred shop? And, is it a requirement to bring your vehicle to more than one shop for an estimate?

I need to know the laws pertaining to a policy holder who only has liability coverage when they intentionally hit my vehicle. The company is telling me that they may not pay for damages to me nor provide a rental car for me. How is that possible? I can see if their insurance refuses to cover their car, but I am an innocent by-stander and I should be compensated.

My car was damage while park in a driveway at another person's house. The owner of the home backed out of her garage and hit my car. She wrote a note and said I should get an estimate. Now she is refusing to pay for it citing Missouri law as her reason for not be at fault. She said private property is no fault. Is this true in Missouri?

I was hit by another vehicle in a department store parking lot. I do not have collision coverage on my vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle claims to have collision coverage. So who will pay for damages done to my vehicle? Does it matter if the other party was at fault. Do I make the claim with my insurance company or theirs?

I was parked in Wal-mart parking lot. When I came out of my car to put my items in the trunk I noticed my car had been hit. It looked as if someone had backed into my vehicle. There was no one around and I did not know what to do. Would this be a claim for my comprehensive or uninsured motorist? In Florida it is a no-fault state so I'm confused.

Would I be covered if I was hit in a head on collision, the person was driving on the wrong side of the road and totaled my car?
