I had gap insurance on my car as well as insurance. My car was totalled and I still had a balance owed on the car. My insurance covered I guess what it was suppose to pay and gap was supposed to cover the remaining balance after my primary insurance paid but it didn't. I was told that I didn't have the right gap insurance for that and gap insurance doesn't pay the full amount it only pay some of it. So are there various types of gap insurance?

My daughter used my car when I was sick. She was listed as an excluded driver. While in my car she was hit by another driver. She was not ticketed the driver who hit her was 100% at fault. My car had full coverage at the time of accident and the driver who hit her was insured with full coverage. Will my car be fixed by the at fault driver? Will the no pay no play law be held up even if my car was insured at the time of wrack that wasn't the excluded driver's fault? Please help me in this...so someone can wreck a car and not pay because the driver was excluded from a car that was insured with full coverage?

My neighbor's dog jumped all over the sides of my car, a Corvette with only 10,000 miles on it. This car has been immaculately taken care of and now it has scratches all over it. It is a 2005, and it was worth $63,000 in 2005. The neighbors have just said they are so sorry. I feel they should pay. My question is, would their car insurance pay for that? And should I contact my insurance company regarding this?

I have a 50 year old car which was in perfect working/running condition. A Hollywood producer wanted to use the car in a movie, which we allowed. They drove the car from my garage and all over Los Angeles for about 3 weeks now. We got a call last night from the producer who said they are towing our car back because it no longer is running. They did give us a million dollar insurance policy on the car but because it is mechanical will they deny our claim?
