How do I get proof of insurance?

After you purchase a policy, the final page of your purchase process will have a link to print your temporary ID card or a printer version of proof of insurance.

If you didn't print your proof after purchasing, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your car insurance account.
  2. You will either have the ability to manage your accound through CarInsurance.com or you will be offered a link to your insurance partner.
  3. If you have the ability to manage your account through CarInsurance.com, locate the “Your Policy Documents” box and click on the Temporary ID Card/ Receipt link. If you have a pop up blocker then hold down your CTRL key while clicking on the Temporary ID Card/ Receipt link and open the PDF.
  4. If you are redirected to one of these companies' websites then follow the instructions on our log in screen to log into your account. Then, follow the link to your policy documents and locate your Temporary ID Card.

If you have any issues, contact our customer service department and they will provide you with proof of insurance by login, email, or fax.
