Hi Penny!

Answering your CarInsurance.com questions since 2005

Q

How do I change my coverage, deductibles, or limits once my auto insurance policy's in effect?

A

By logging into your account (manage your account) at CarInsurance.com, you can make changes to your policy online.

Once you log into your account, all policy options are listed. This includes changes to your policy, payments, and claims. You can click on your auto insurance policy to view the summary of your policy information. Click the "Make Changes to my Coverage" link, and make your changesĀ - whether it be changing your limits, your deductible amount on your physical damage coverages or whatever changes you need to make. Finally click on "Continue" to confirm your changes.

In some instances, online changes are only available when you visit the insurance company site to make policy changes. We will display this requirement when you log in. Once you log in, a phone number is available for your personal insurance coverage. You can call that number to make any changes to your policy or if you have any questions.

[Let CarInsurance.com help you find affordable auto insurance now.]

Most all carriers offer online options to make changes to your limits and deductibles. Some carriers require policy changes be made over the phone, which is available when you login.
