Will insurance cost more if I have been licensed for just a short period of time?

There are many factors that determine how much you might pay for your insurance. One of them is your driving record. The better your record, the lower your premium. If you've had accidents or serious traffic violations, you will pay more than if you've had a clean driving record. You may also pay more if you haven't been insured for a number of years. You can get a car insurance quote here. You can work up several scenarios indicating different lengths of time that you have been licensed to determine how, if at all, it might affect your rate.
