Car Insurance Question  I live in Massachusetts but I go to college in PA and spend 2/3 of the year in PA. Can I insure my car in PA since Im there for most of the year, even though technically my permanent residence is in MA?

Typically you could insure your car in either state. You will have to have a valid license and vehicle registration in whichever you state you decide to insure the car. Regardless of where you decide to insure it you should ensure that the insurance company is aware of it's garaging location.

Each insurance company has different guidelines regarding your situation. You should check with your agent or insurance company to determine exactly how you should handle this.

You can get a auto insurance quote here to see how much it would cost to insure it.
