Is there a scale that is used to determine "pain and suffering" settlements? I was recently involved in a car accident caused by an uninsured motorist. I have been to the doctor but still feel a slight discomfort to my neck at times due to the accident. The insurance company wants to settle but will not give me a clear answer as to how much they are going to settle for.

CarInsurance.com does not know of any scale that exists for pain and suffering. You should seek legal counsel to advise you if the settlement option is fair.
