My 15 year old gave the keys to my car to his 18 year old friend who crashed the car and was arrested. Will my comprehensive coverage pay for the damages to my car?

If the 18 year old was arrested then it is possible that he was doing something illegally. Some insurance companies will not cover a loss such if your vehicle was used without your permission. You also mention that you have comprehensive coverage which is a broad physical damage coverage which covers all property losses except collision and those perils or property which are specifically excluded. If you do not also have collision coverage then the damages to your vehicle may not be covered. You should contact your insurance agent as soon as possible to determine if you are covered for this loss.
