Can I keep my insurance policy if I move from one state to another?

You will need to obtain a new insurance policy if you move to another state. The insurance policy you buy in one state is specific to that state. Even if your insurance company offers policies in the state you move to they will require that you obtain a new one. It is recommended that you purchase your new insurance policy within 30 days of moving to another state.

You can comparison shop for a new policy here by getting a car insurance quote.
