Can I make a claim on my friend's insurance because he wrecked my car when I lent it to him?

Your friend's auto insurance company will pay second to any insurance you have. If your friend has caused more damage or injury (to the other car or person) than what your policy covers his will kick in. Your friend's policy will not provide any physical damage coverage to your car. The damage to your car will be covered by your policy only.
