If you trade in a car during hours when your insurance office is not open, is your new car automatically covered by the policy?

Most insurance policies will extend coverage to vehicles owned by you on the date you acquire the additional car for up to 30 days after you become the owner. In most cases, if the car you acquire is in addition to those covered under your policy it will have the broadest coverage provided for any one vehicle covered.

You can get a car insurance quote here and even purchase auto insurance online.
