I am under my mother's insurance and I am in the process of changing vehicles. If the car I drive is not under my mothers name, will I still be insured?

Do you mean any car you drive while looking to buy another one or do you mean a new car that you buy that would be in your name? Any car you drive would be covered by that person's insurance policy; not your mother's. If you buy a new car and it is not titled to your mother than you would not be covered under her policy. You would need your own.
