If my car was hit by another car but I did not get a police report, can I still file an insurance claim several days later?

Yes, you can still file your claim. Insurance companies usually allow a reasonable amount of time. Even if nothing may come of them, claims should be made immediately to protect your interests and your insurance company's interests.
