I have a car now that is paid for and I am thinking about buying a new car. I will keep the older car. My 22 yr old son lives with me. He does not own a car but has a license. Now I have him as an occassional driver as I do not let him drive my car much. When he has to be somewhere I drive him. If I had 2 cars, the same would pretty much be true. But, occassionally he has an appointment where i would have to take time off work to take him....this is when having 2 cars would be a benefit to m

The answer depends on what The companies guidelines say. Reading the policy jacket or asking the agent is the best way to find out. Most companies would match two drivers with one of the two cars, while some would just list all drivers with any cars on the policy.
