Do you know which insurance companies which do give coverage to foreigners who have just arrived in the US and have not yet had the opportunity to get a US drivers license. An advice would highly appreciated

Every company has specific rules regarding this. At CarInsurance.com we have one company that allows foreigners with an out of state license to get insurance and then they require you to get an in state license within 30 days. We have another company that requires you to have a current in state license before they will issue a policy.

Most companies should allow you to start your insurance with an international license.
