Driving without a drivers license and car registration had expired. He was given a fine from the courts. He still doesnt have a drivers license so what happens if they get caught again? What are the penalities. The car is insured now & car reg is paid but he still doesnt have a drivers license.

Driving with no license or expired/cancelled /revoked license is illegal. You can be fined and/or arrested if you get pulled over. The car may be towed and impounded if also not registered. You will need to also pay a fee to reinstate the license. In some cases if you have multiple driving on suspended license tickets, you will be listed as Habitual traffic offender. If this happen most insurance companies will not insure you . You would need to purchase high price insurance form the state Joint Underwriters Association.
