I hit a deer on a state owned road. Can I get my deductible waived since the deer is considered state property and the incident happened on a state owned road?

Regardless of where this took place, this is a comprehensive claim. Comprehensive losses include losses caused by falling objects, fire, windstorm, hail, breakage of glass, and colliding with a bird or animal. I believe your comprehensive deductible will apply.
