I just recently started a job through an agency that assists persons with developemental disiabilities. My friend who works for the same agency went to pay her car insurance. The people she was paying asked who she worked for and what did she do. If you have a personal auto policy you can not use it for business or commercial use. If you do and there is an accident then you will not be covered or those in your car. You would need to get a business use policy . You should not keep the current personal policy if you do use your car to transport people for your job.
