My boyfriend was driving my car at the time. We changed lanes near an intersection around 6 or 7 cars back. Once we got to the stoplight, we were stopped for a good 5-10 seconds and then we were rear-ended. Who is at fault here? Me or the person who rear-ended us?

If you were hit from behind then most times the party that struck you is at fault. If you were stopped that is also an indication that they were at fault.
