I have a 27-year-old, married daughter who is separated from her husband. On Friday, 12 August, he called their auto insurance company and left a message to remove her from their auto insurance policy. We would like to lend her one of our vehicles (which are fully insured) to drive until she gets a new car and insurance (which will probably be within the next two days). If we do this, is everything covered?

Ultimately, you will want to contact your insurance company to see if she will be covered for just a couple days without adding her as a driver to your policy. With that being stated, if your daughter is going to be driving your vehicles and she is residing in your household, you will need to list her on your policy as a driver. If she does not reside with you, but she uses your vehicles on any kind of regular basis, you will probably need to add her to your policy as a driver. If one of your vehicles stays at your daughter's residence, and her residence differs from yours, you will need to let your insurance company know; because, they may have an issue with vehicles that stay at multiple residences.
