What happens if someone runs in to you and they total your vehicle. The person was at fault for the accident, but this is my problem I was issued a ticket for driving with a suspended license.

Even though you got the ticket and were not supposed to be driving, you should still be able to file the claim . The other party still caused the accident and would be responsible.
