If my daughter just moved back in the house and she used one of our cars and got into an accident, is not covered under our insurance plan and does not currently have insurance, will our insurance company cover the car?

This all depends on the company. Each company has different rules. You must list all residents in the household and usually have them as drivers or excluded. Since she just moved back , they may cover the loss , but may charge the premium for her listed from when she moved back in. Again, this is all up to the company, the loss may not be covered at all, since she wasn't listed as a driver.
