Car Insurance Question  Our 17 year old grandson moved in with us in Jan 05. He recently obtained his driver license. We added him to our vehicle insurance policy. He has now moved in with his Dad. We plan to remove him from our vehicle policy. Are we liable in any way if he gets into an accident after he has moved in with his Dad? I am not sure if his Dad is going to put him on his vehicle insurance policy.

The parent or guardian is responsible for the 17 year old. If the car he drives is not yours then you are not responsible. If he is living with his father and his father does not list his son then the father may be responsible for losses and the fathers company may not pay.
