I am in Utah. I borrowed my mother's truck to go camping and got caught in a hail storm that made some damage. I have full coverage on my vehicles. But, I am not sure what coverages are on her insurance policy. If she has liabilty only, will my coverage cover the truck I borrowed? Are policies different from state to state?

Comprehensive and collision coverages cover your vehicle, and sometimes other vehicles you may be driving for losses. However, this will apply to replacement vehicles (i.e. rental cars). So, as a result, your comprehensive and collision coverages will not cover your mother's vehicle.
