We moved from MA to NH in February 2005. My husband was able to register his vehicle, right away. You will need to get the proper insurance for the state you are living. If you did not inform the old company you moved , they could deny a claim based on material misrepresentation. Most states allow you 10 days to switch over the information, otherwise you can be fined.
