If your car is involved in an accident and you have a carseat, is it supposed to be replaced?

In most cases, your personal items are not covered under your automobile policy. Coverage from your homeowner’s policy may extend to this item. However, if the other party was 'at-fault' in the accident, you may want try to have the other party's 'property damage liability' cover it. This coverage will cover other property damaged in an accident. However, this coverage is limited to the terms and conditions contained in the policy.
