Do my parents's car insurance rates go up if I get my licence?

This will depend on your parents insurance company. If you have a learner's permit and the insurance company did not increase your parents rates when you acquired it, your parents insurance rates will increase. If your parents insurance company increased their insurance rates when you earned your learner's permit, their rates should not increase when you get your regular driver's license. Now, if you are just acquiring your learner's permit, and not your regular driver's license, any increase in your parents insurance rates will depend upon their insurance company. Like I alluded to earlier, some insurance companies charge for drivers with learner's permits. Some companies do not charge for drivers with learner's permits.
