I had a lapse in my auto insurance because I misread my due date for my policy renewal. I can't afford to pay the total premium due for 6 months of coverage. Can I make payments? Or, do I have to find a different insurance agency?

Most insurance companies allow you the ability to pay a down payment and monthly payments, if you cannot pay for the total premium at one time.

Now, if there is a finance company involved, chances are your monthly payments will include finance charges. Now, if your current insurance company does not give you the opportunity to pay a down payment and monthly payments, you can click here to get an automobile insurance rate with the ability to purchase your policy immmediately on-line.
