I recently moved to Ohio from Indiana. Do I have to have a car insurance provider in Ohio, or can I stay with my old provider in Indiana? If I do have to switch, how long can I drive in Ohio before I switch? (I am not planning on staying here in Ohio for more than a year.)

To see if your Indiana insurance company will continue in Ohio, you will need to talk to them. (Some insurance companies provide insurance that is good in other states.) If they will not cover you in Ohio, you will probably have 30 days from the day you get to Ohio to find new insurance. Again, you will need to verify that information with your Indiana insurance company. You can follow this link to learn more about the Ohio Department of Insurance and their rules and regulations.
