Car Insurance Question  Last winter, I had a few accidents. I appealed one of the accidents. It is going to take 18 months before I receive an appeal date from the registry. I have already received the surcharge on my insurance for this accident. Will I be refunded the money that I payed - if I win the appeal?

If you win your appeal, chances are you will not be able to recover any overpaid monies on a policy that has passed its expiration date. However, if the policy is still in-force, you should be able to request your insurance company refund any overpaid funds back to the policy's inception date. If you have not finished paying for your policy at the time you win your appeal, this refunded monies will probably be applied to your policy's outstanding balance.
