If I get a learner's permit and I get in a car accident, will my mother need sr22 insurance or will it just be me?

Ultimately, your mother will need to check with her state's Department of Motor Vehicles to see if she needs a sr22 insurance policy. If you are a minor, there is a good chance she will need one. Also, if you were driving your mother's vehicle, and her vehicle did not have the required liability limits mandated by her state, chances are she will need an sr22 insurance policy. Your mother can follow this link to learn more rules from her state's Department of Insurance.
