If I lease a car, can my child (who has his learner's permit) drive it?

Ultimately, you will need to discuss your situation with your vehicle's leasing company and your insurance company. First, your vehicle's lease agreement may have rules that prohibit any drivers of this vehicle other than yourself. Before you allow anyone to drive this vehicle, you will want to make sure your vehicle's leasing company allows it. After that, you will want to discuss this situation with your insurance company. In general, insurance companies want to know about other possible drivers - including those drivers with just a learner's permit.
