I got into an accident about a month ago. I only had insurance that covered collision for my car that was issued through my lender. The accident was my fault, but I did not report the accident to the insurance company (since I only had a few dents in my car). I am afraid to call the other party's insurance company, because I dont have the money to pay for the accident. Does the other insurance company work out payments? Or, am I going to end up paying a large lump sum? What actions should I take?

How you re-pay for any damages may vary from state to state and insurance company to insurance company. You may want to contact the other party's insurance company and your state's Department of Motor Vehicles to see what will be your responsibilities. Some states may suspend your driver's license until you provide proof that you have paid for your damages resulting from your accident. You may want to consult legal help for your situation.
