Car Insurance Question  I have 2 speeding tickets from CA and have moved to SC. Will SC check my driving record from CA when I apply for a SC drivers license? I also have to change insurance companies. Will they check my driving record from CA?

In general, violations on a motor vehicle report with a driver's license from one state will transfer to the motor vehicle report with a driver's license from another state. Also, chances are your new insurance company will do their due dilligence. Most insurance companies will try to pull your motor vehicle report for three years, five years, or seven years (depending on the company). This usually includes trying to pull your out-of-state motor vehicle report. You can follow this link for an auto insurance rate and possibly be able to purchase your policy immediately on-line!!!
