Q

What's considered a good or clean driving record?

A

Ultimately, it will be up to your insurance company to tell you what they consider a "good" or "clean" driving record. In general, though, a "clean" driving record has no moving violations, claims, or accidents.

In general, a "good" driving record has no violations or one or two minor violations on it.

Minor violations are defined by each individual state. Typically, a minor violation would be a speeding ticket under 10 MPH, an illegal turn, or missing signal.
