If a motorcycle, or car for that matter, has a rebuilt title is it completely up to code and safe to ride/drive? Basically good as new or should I be worried?

If a motorcycle or vehicle has been given a rebuilt title it means that it has been severely damaged and then refurbished. In most states before a rebuilt vehicle is allowed back on the road an inspection is required. Before purchasing a rebuilt item it is generally recommended to have it thoroughly checked out by your own mechanic.

Before purchasing a vehicle or motorcycle with a rebuilt or salvage title check with your insurance company to make sure they will insure it.
