Recently, I was pulled over for speeding and got a ticket for driving under the influence. I am a student, and I am curious. Is their is anyway my roommate could get his own insurance for my car - even though the title is in my name?

Your roommate has no "insurable interest" in your vehicle. As a result, your roommate may find it difficult to insure it. However, there are some companies, like Esurance, who will allow your roommate to insure your vehicle. In some states, our website offers the ability to purchase insurance through Esurance. Now, your roommate may need to meet some other requirements, but your roommate can follow this link and possibly get a car insurance rate from Esurance.
