Please explain the significance of receiving a request from an insurance underwriter to provide "a physicians report for automobile insurance."Can this likely lead to a cancellation?

An insurance company requires this to determine your insurability.

There are typically procedures in place that let an agent know this is needed to determine insurability. The flag could be age, a license restriction or something arbitrary.

The issue is not one of age, but of capability. A company may cancel the policy if you are not an acceptable driver under their criterion. The company files their rates and rules with their respective insurance department. In those rules, there is a pre-determined set of acceptable and unacceptable risks.

We can find you an insurance company, get a quote to determine your insurability.
