I let my boyfriend use my car and he was involved in an accident. he was not at fault but because his he never changed his address when he moved my insurance added him as a driver. The problem is he has a clean driving record but a drug possession conviction. If we do not live together and I have him removed will he be covered if he is driving when we go out to dinner and I let him drive my vehicle?

Provided he has a valid driver license, most insurance companies will allow non-resisident people to drive your car as long as you gave them permission. It is best to verify that your insurance company will allow your boyfriend to drive your car with permission. Some companies may have an exclusion regarding this.

If your boyfriend is searching for his own insurance then he may get a quote here.
