I recently got my beginners licence G1 do you have to have insurance on the vehicle? When my parents already have but do they need to get insurance on for me?

You will need insurance on the vehicle you are driving.

Most insurance companies require that they be notified of any and all licensed drivers in a household.Your parents will need to notify their insurance company that you got your beginners G1 license. Typically insurance companies will not apply any additional charges for beginner and/or occasional operators with a G1 license.
