Can I use SC non-owners insurance in North Carolina?

You should check with your insurance company though if you are just going to North Carolina for a short period it is likely your non-owners will follow you. But if you are moving from South Carolina to reside permanently in North Carolina you should probably get a new non-owners policy. North Carolina requires auto insurance to be maintained with a company licensed and authorized to do business in NC.

It may be possible to use the same insurance company for your non-owners policy if they do insurance in both states so contact your insurance agent or company.
