Does my 16 year old son need insurance while drivng with a G1 license with a qualified accompanying driver during the 8 months of driver training?

It would be best to contact your insurance company, agent or broker that your auto insurance is through and inform them that your son has obtained his G1 license. Insurance companies like to be advised of all the household members that carry a driver's license of any kind.
