I had a DUI in Virginia in August of 99 do I still need an SR22?

In several states a Financial Responsibility Insurance Certificate, SR22, needs to be held for 3 years. I would check with the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles to ensure that this holds true in your specific case.

Once you are certain of your needs you can get a Virginia auto insurance quote.

car insurance commentsI just learned that in Virginia the 3 years starts when you get your license reinstated, which is 1 year after conviction for a first DWI offense.
