I was involved in an accident where the other driver backed up into me. He was insured and I was not. His insurance paid repairs for my car. Now he has filed a complaint against me with the police for no insurance. What should I expect and what should I do?

Each state has its own penalties for driving without insurance and possibly harsher penalties if you have been in an accident while being uninsured. Penalties can vary from a fine, license suspension or revocation, impoundment of your vehicle, community service or jail time.

Many states will require you to comply with financial responsible laws in the way of obtaining an SR-22 certificate and maintaining it for a certain number of years. We can help you get insurance either now or for an SR22 if it is required.
