If someone in the state of Arkansas has been caught driving uninsured for the fifth time what are the penalties?

In the state of Arkansas you are required to have proof of liability insurance on your vehicle in the amount of 25/50/25. If you are found without insurance there is a graduating scale of penalties, all with mandatory fines. For the first offense a fine of between $50 and $250 is required to be paid. For a second offense a fine of between $250 and $500 is due. A third or any subsequent offenses have a fine of between $500 and $1000 or a sentence of 1 year in jail or both.

With being cited for driving without insurance for the fifth time you will likely pay the highest fine possible and possibly be subjected to serving jail time as well.If you need Arkansas auto insurance in the future contact us for a quote.
