Car Insurance Question  I Have my juniors operating license in MA can I drive out of state with it?

There are certain restrictions that the state of Massachussetts puts on those with a junior operating license (JOL). The state of MA does not restrict you from using a learner permit of JOL out-of-state but do assert that you may not operate a vehicle in another state if it is a violation of that state's law.

A Massachusetts JOL is a driver's license that should be recognized by other states but it is suggested that you check with the division of motor vehicles of the states in which you plan to drive in. Other states might have more restrictive policies. While in other states though you must abide by the limits MA has placed upon your junior license, such as the passenger restriction.
