Car Insurance Question  I was just hit by a driver that was driving on a suspended license and he was somehow insured. There is damage to my car, my back is sore and I am also a very upset that he was driving. (I was stopped at a red light, he didn't see it, his me full speed from behind). My question is, what is reasonable to collect, obviously repairs to the car, and any medical attention that I aquire, Would there be a reasonable claim against the insurance company for further collections?

I understand that it can be very frustrating to have a person with a suspended license causing damage to your car and yourself but you it is much easier to collect for your damages and bodily injuries with an insured individual than with a person that is not. Hopefully the police was called to the scene of the accident so that the person was cited for their violation.

To find out what type of settlement will be entitled to you need to speak to the at fault person's insurance company. Their claims adjuster will be able to go over what the person's policy will cover and what their limits are.
