Car Insurance Question  I was a passenger in a car accident in which the other driver was at fault, I was injured and I rode the ambulance to the hospital, his insurance will cover my medical bills, but is there any way I could get money out of his insurance to help me out for the time lost at work?

The best way to find out if you can collect for lost time at work or lost wages through your at-fault's insurance policy is to ask the claims adjuster. It might be possible but it depends on the type of policy the person has and your state's laws.

When negotiating your settlement with the company for the medical bills bring up the issue of lost wages and see they will calculate that into the settlement.Auto Accidents and Lost Wages is an article in our Learning center you might find of interst at this point in time.
